Title: Utica display case
Post by: jimwrench on July 08, 2016, 08:12:25 PM
Went to auction this evening prepared to spend $100 + for a Utica display case. Got it for $22.50 but the top, both sides and the bottom were missing. Also the back. Dadburned thing did not make me happy but I brought it home anyway. Anyone want to volunteer to make a display case for my door? I didn't think so.

Jim, that's a nice looking door.  are those 2 name plates metal ?

if you do not make a box for it, you could make a cool looking mirror.

I'm guessing the center panel used to be glass???Otherwise it would have been more of a Utica tool cabinet, less of a display case.

How about replacing the panel with pegboard and hanging tools on it for display? The name plates are really neat.
