Title: Ratcheting Screwdriver Help
Post by: HeelSpur on June 11, 2016, 10:46:58 AM
I'm not sure if there are letters missing on this but it says;

???ALGOT- T. Johnson
Jamestown, NY
Pat. Oct. 21, 1924

Datamp showed 7 patents for this date but not this one.

What were the letters before ALGOT if there were any?

Thanks for that, I never had much luck with google patents so I didn't even try  :sad:

Would have never guessed Algot was a first name.

Sweet 3 dollar deal.

Heck yeah I would have grabbed that one and ran. Is the handle made from aluminum? Aluminum would have still been a pretty exotic metal back in 1924.
