Title: Great Northern Flea Market - several Whose-Its?
Post by: amecks on June 05, 2016, 04:33:23 PM
In Adams Center NY.  We went to look for something they had advertised - which we did not buy.  But outside in the rain was a table and some tool boxes with wrenches and the usual junky stuff.  I was surprised these weren't inside the building with tags tied to them saying $2, $5, $10.

The rest of all this stuff I will likely sell off...if they're of value...

IHC P1183 - is this in demand?  What was it for?
INOX? PUROX #6402 gas cyl wrench?
Short heavy wrench with odd curve 15/16 1-1/16 both ends no markings
Heavy plated alligators - small is marked in an oval "Bonney Vise & Tool Works" "**CA PA" in center of oval and across the bottom something followed byt the date "1876"
The large alligator - has a big "3" stamped in the middle and the mid other side has a circle about 1/2 round with letters only two of which might be readable.  small Bonney shield - just able to be read.
And an 11 inch Auto with no other marks - I think it will clean up and work OK, jaws not bad, varnish on handle
Thanks for lookin'
Al

The Moore pliers only have the M Circle logo.  No knurling on the handles and the jaws are fairly worn.  Somebody welded the nut so there's no adjustment.  They're very plain and in sad shape.

the unbranded 3/4 x 5/8 DOE on the right side of your 1st photo was made by Barcalo.

I think AA calls it a Geometric?
Cleaned up, it will be attractive.

Love the JP parrot head pliers. They come in handy at times.

So that's a Barcalo wrench?  I knew I had seen them before here on Tool Talk but did not remember who made it.  I had use for a 3/4 wrench in my welding kit so I cleaned it and painted the recessed parts blue, adding a light clear coat.  It looks good.  The cad plating is long gone - I saw no sign of it.
Thanks
