Title: Interesting Book on EARLY Tools
Post by: Twertsy on March 08, 2016, 09:34:19 AM
I found this today while conducting research.  Mainly 1700-1900 Tool history (English & American).

Enjoy!  https://play.google.com/books/reader?id=Vrp-AAAAMAAJ&printsec=frontcover&output=reader&authuser=0&hl=en

Not to hijack your thread, Todd, but I've found this old book interesting as all get out. I liked it so much I found and bought a reprint of the original.

I "skimmed" George, seems worth a better look!

The one I posted goes into unbelievable detail regarding the men who formed the companies, how they started, for whom they worked beforehand, etc.  I obviously haven't read it all yet but there is a LOT of good stuff in there, if you care about that kind of thing of course.
