Title: Straight edge.
Post by: copperhead on January 03, 2016, 04:28:51 PM
This was given to me by my boss. It was his grandfathers. Made by the Murray-Black Co. Not sure as to it's age.

It's 6 ft long and made of laminated wood. It has copper(I think) strips screwed along each edge. Unfortunately, it's developed a crown over the years, but at this point of its life, it probably should just be hanging on a wall.

Paperhanger's cutting straightedge used to trim wallpaper before hanging.
Every one I ever saw has a bow.

Ask if he has the cutter that rides it so you have the complete set.
