Title: Not too good tools
Post by: amecks on December 05, 2015, 12:57:48 PM
I warned ya - these are kinda junk.  I bought several household items at a nearby second hand store - total cost $2.70.  It was worth it even if these are junk.
The NAPA Evercraft (Taiwan) pliers are missing the spring.  The folding ruler is not bent but very worn and corroded.  It must be corrosion because it can't be rust - it's "The Rustless Rule" Reliable Stamping Co. Inc. Buffalo, N.Y. U.S.A. Pat. 8-5-13.  The next line is stamped "N.Y.C. AP' VD W-5" - what does that mean?
If anyone wants the ruler I will send it for cost of postage.

The Evercraft has inner and outer pins.
The joints in the ruler are quite worn and loose.  About the only good thing is it is not bent.
