Can anyone give me information on a G.B. Pickop ratcheting wrench. pat. date 1907? is it worth anything? can't find anything but patent info. Thanks

"Pick-Up" spark plug wrench with an unusual design, marked with "Pick-Up" and "Patd" on the handle. In operation, the handle can be raised in its loose connection to allow the tab to disengage from the socket, and then turned to engage the next slot.
The overall length is 9.4 inches, and the finish is plain steel.
The patent notice refers to patent #847,601, filed by G.B. Pickop in 1907 and issued later that year.
The patent description calls this as a ratchet wrench, but technically it is a clutch mechanism, as the socket can be turned in either direction once the slot and tab are engaged. The "Pick-Up" trade name is a clever play on the inventor's name and the method of operation, as the handle is picked up to disengage the drive.

1908 "new product" announcement. Sockets made in sizes to fit spark plugs then in use. Also note the existence of a "ratchet / socket" set using the pick-up handle -- "Bus" has one in his collection.
