Title: B&D model 73 Corded Chainsaw
Post by: Yadda on September 27, 2015, 11:49:45 PM
This is the strangest amalgamation tool I have ever seen.  From the looks of this beast it is a chainsaw kit for the circular saw?  Weird!

Designed for timber framing mortises, I believe.  Using one of those would sure scare the fertilizer out of me.

I believe the chain saw attachment was an aftermarket product, designed to mount to circular saws.  I've seen pictures of it most often on worm drive saws, where it would be at least as terrifying.

That sucker is nasty looking, I bet it would come in handy once every ten years.

Wow, that is a hell of a thing... Someone was very clever, and very reckless...

I've used one similar, it was a Makita worm drive with a prazi chainsaw attachment. Basically same concept in the link you posted.

Didn't need it t just was in a vocational program an I tried it out for no real reason.
