Title: C.S. Osborne & Co.
Post by: HeelSpur on August 29, 2015, 04:59:41 PM
My buddy found this today for me its the biggest yard stick I have ever seen.
It had $15 on it but as usual he talked them down to 8.

Can't think of a reason to have a two yard stick but I want one.

Paper hanger's stick.

There is also a 80 or 82" model, brass bound on the ends and brass angle along the edges used for cutting paper.  That one is around 3" wide, usually high quality wood that has been laminated to minimize warping.

put half in your yard and half in the neighbors yard.

Heres a pic of my paper hangers stick that Aunt Phil mentioned. Very handy straightedge and saw guide. This one is 84 inchs long. Had the cutter that fits in the channel but it hasn't been seen in years.

Might come in handy to reach out and touch the kids or grand kids from a little farther away.

I'm glad my pop didn't have one. A regular one was bad enough.

For those occasions when you're willing to touch something with a six-foot pole.
