Title: a nice little haul
Post by: RedVise on June 28, 2015, 09:43:46 PM
Grabbed some cratfsman goodies, a nickel molybdenum 1/2x9/16 with heavy broaching (correct?) for my collection and others. Then at the top left are a couple of Bonney goodies. A T2 3/8" fixed drive and a V720 1/4" breaker bar, for my 1/4" beaker bar collection...

Then there are 2 perfect handle  drivers, the black one is stamped Dunla . There are a couple of Hurwood drivers, an interesting all steel driver, then a big Bonney no.4 phillips, Par-X driver and a couple of chisels and a Buck Bros gouge. At the top there is a pair of parallel jaw pliers and a Waldes snap ring plier.

OK- some fun stuff here too !
A nice brass hammer, plumb ball pein,  and a pair of tongs.

In the center, what looks like a knife sharpening steel ????
And a small hammer, possibly a jewlers or leather workers tool ?

Fun stuff this week, and I started to refinish a wood machinist box, I am looking forward to that, after selling off a couple. I kept one to play with.

Nice 1/4 drive set, just missing one socket (7/16) and the ratchet handle. I have one like it, bought it new probably 40 years ago, still regularly used.

The nickel molybdenum wrench is probably a Bridgeport. I have a trio with similar fonts - nice shallow offset.

And I'd bet the dunla is a Dunlap. Sears budget line until the early 60's.
