Took some tools to tailgate auction yesterday. They did ok. Didn't get rich but didn't expect to. Also
had a 12 place milkglass luncheon set (plate and cup) Taped a 1 dollar bill to top plate to get a bid. No bid so I threw another $1 bill in box. Sold for $2 Then the lady who bought them said she didn't buy them so I gave the clerk the $2 and left the dishes. Oh I had washed them by hand.
Then I tried to sell some scroll pictures similar to one in photo. Solid walnut frame and three dimensional figures. Guess I had about 20 hours labor in each one. Got $1 for pair of them.
The moral of the story is "STICK WITH TOOLS"

Very Nice scroll work & frame...
I do scroll work for gifts only, don't expect to sell any unless they order something & pay in advance...
too many cheap imports are killing the craftsman market... can't make a living unless you have a demand for custom work...
