Title: maytag item
Post by: toolmiser on June 19, 2015, 08:18:07 PM
Here is something I almost threw into the scrap bin.  I have no idea what it is, but it's like a six pt socket on one end, and it says Maytag in script, on one side.  It's 6 3/8" long and 7/8" diameter.  Anybody got any ideas?  A person has to really look over "junk" boxes, I probably still miss "valuable" things.  My pictures aren't very good but one end is turned round 5/8", and 5/8" long.  Thanks for looking!

Is it a tool, or part of a machine?

Probably related to a Maytag engine or gas powered washing machine.
Might even be for a powered bicycle.

Fortunately you can start here and ask questions.
