Title: Pliers ID help

I think they're Crescent.  The grips match with another Crescent I got in the same box.  I tried searching google and looked at a couple catalogs but I can't find them.  Anyone know what they're used for?  Thanks!

Telephone cable splices. The connector cuts through the insulation and the connector is filled with a liquid to seal the connection.

UR splice connectors or 3M Scotchlok UR connectors.
