There was a small post season swap meet for snowmobilers this morning and a beautiful morning it was. There were vendors with all kinds of stuff from sleds to cycles, minibikes and go karts, and antiques. One guy had a tailgate full of machinist measuring tools and a nice Kennedy box. I found vendor with antique car stuff and picked up two pliers and a C-man ratchet screwdriver. Maybe you can help me make some sense of these - I know they are not valuable but I'm curious.
The regular pliers are only marked "FORGED STEEL". The pliers with the three cutters is marked "?ARNETT" and "FORGED".
The Craftsman driver is odd. It is marked =CRAFTSMAN= and on the next face it's marked "7/16 NUT DRIVER" and "(Circle V)".
It's obviously not a nut driver but a 3/16" screwdriver. The blade does not appear to come out.

I'll guess that someone installed the nut driver handle on that screw driver

+1 agreed, and the V-circle on the handle is an fairly early code. I have a few of the V-circle nut drivers.

The top looks similar to a pair of Matchless pliers I have but mine has a screwdriver at the end of the handle.

Matchless? What's the story that goes with that name? Probably not the British motorcycle manufacturer. But who and where?
I forgot to mention I paid $4 for the three items. Not supercheap but OK price.

Bridgeport Hardware Manufacturing.

The top pair are listed in most of the old catalogs I have seen as Universal Combination Slip Joint Pliers, with one alligator jaw.

The top pliers were marketed as Victor by one manufacturer. I've got around three of these. Notice that your pair are quite a bit beefier than the Bridgeport version. I keep a pair of this in my go to box. Quite handy.
The second pair are "Button's patent" pliers, and were made by several manufacturers. The patent is for the three cutters incorporated into the pliers. They're really graceful and attractive to me and I've picked up a number of them, from 4 inches over all to 10 inches.

Agreed. Those are handsome looking pliers.
