10" I'm wondering who the maker is any help appreciated, LMS? Stamped Fordson with faint Ford script.

All I can find is that L-M-S Motor Co, New York, was a ford distributor..
.(Inc 1912, to make engines, etc,has a engine patent, but by 1916 listed as Ford distributor)
Can't find any photo to check the logo tho....
Plausable they were buying and stamping wrenches to sell to fordson owners, I guess..

I have a Fordson wrench that looks just like yours except that mine does not have any makers mark on it. Maybe yours was stamped by a distributor, I don't really know. I do know that I like the wrench, you don't find too many adjustable Fordson wrenches with the open handle.

The FORDSON mark looks like the mark on some tools made by Vlchek for Fordson, but I don't think Vlchek made adjustables. Seen on Alloy Artifacts- http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/vlchek-story.html
Also looks like Keystone-

I'm thinking that I agree the lms is probably the distributor mark, that vlchek stamp does look the same.
