Title: Tiny gator
Post by: amecks on May 06, 2015, 11:44:18 AM
Our motorcycle club held its spring swap meet this past weekend.  I sold a pretty good amount of stuff but did not find anything to buy but a cycle magazine.  But I did find this little wrench that Rocko gave me!  I thought you'd like to see it.  No markings - except "1/2" on the open end.
I wonder what its use was?

Repairing baby alligators, of course - the little ones, before they get big enough to release into the New York sewers.

I think Bill meant that it was used to hold the baby alligators jaws open.

There was one like that in the "Radio/Lectric" wrench set made by B.H.M.  (pg. 16 of the March 2006 MVWC Newsletter )

I never thought that would actually get identified!  There's one on eBay for $11 - they seem to suggest it was an advertising item, although theirs doesn't have any ad work on it.
