Title: What's the purpose
Post by: HeelSpur on April 12, 2015, 07:21:12 AM
of the point on the handle?

This is a B&G made in Germany.
These are very well made.
Screwdriver on one end and a point.

The one end looks like a screwdriver as you said but I think the other pointed side may have got broken if not then I have no idea.

Perhaps they envisioned applications where you'd want a wedge to form a gap, or start forcing  two surfaces apart.   Only way to know for sure is find an ad or "how to use the tool" type instruction in a textbook.
