Title: Stanley 133H
Post by: Papaw on March 10, 2015, 02:45:44 PM
I have this Stanley 133H spiral driver that is stuck! Unlike other Stanley drivers, this later model doesn't seem to lend itself to disassembly. Any ideas about how to fix it?
The spiral will not go back in the body. It will turn both ways.

No idea, but I might have another, or a similar one, to send you, if you'd like.  Send me a PM if you're interested.

Thanks, but I have several functioning drivers and some extras. Just wanted this one to work again.

Did you try a little light oil in the direction change switch. They sometimes stick when dry.

Yep. Tried that and several other things short of breaking the darn thing open.
