Per Ada's wish, there are many fond memories that come to mind of a good and generous man. We have
been fortunate and privileged to know him.
-
Bob was one of the best. Always enthusiastic about our love of tools, and shared that passion freely with all of us. He will be missed.
Rest In Peace, amertrac.

Rest in peace, Bob. My thoughts with his family. We should do something here in a thread to commemorate his membership here. Maybe this is it.
He loved tools!

Remembered a conversation today that Bob and I had a little over a year back.
Bob remarked he had gotten even with more than a few people who were waiting to put him in the ground by selling the tools they were planning to inherit and blowing the money he got for those tools. He loved pointing out he had outlived other people's plans for him.
Coffee mug in the raised position for Bob.

Every time that I fondle the lovely English plate brace tht I got from Bob, I'll picture the Bears on his patio. A great guy and a great contributor here. We will miss you Amertrac.

Classic! I join you in raised mug!
Having joined recently I haven't yet read all of his posts, but I've enjoyed the ones I've gotten to already and look forward to memorializing him by reading his posts in the future.

I'd like to think Bob is still keeping an eye on the forum, wherever he is. RIP Amertrac!
