Picked these up a few weeks ago and forgot I took pictures. I spent ten dollars total on them all, I think I did good. What do you guys think? If you have a question or want specific pictures let me know.

Snap on, both can be warranted. Chrome chipping on both, and detent ball is missing. Also on the t handle the socket part slides loose.

Wow, someone needed to reach something VERY specific with that one bent up 3/8" bar :P Quite a clever solution.

The 3/8 bent bar is half of a distributor wrench. Why they were made that way is anybodies guess. One needs to have both halves to use it properly. what you can't see in the picture is the box end of the tool. Most likely 1/2 of a inch or 9/16 of a inch.

Thanks for the pics Pawpaw. Really makes it nice and apparent how it works.
Seems like an odd tool to me, but, all of my distributors are pretty easy to get at with a regular ratchet, or box wrench.

Because the "split" design allows you to turn the end you're using as a handle around in various configurations to reach into the tight spots many distributors live in. What I think is anyone's guess is why so many American manufacturers thought it was fun to put distributors in hard to reach locations, when points replacement and distributor timing were fairly frequent maintenance jobs. But then, they (and, to be fair, many other car makers, not just the American companies) did/do the same thing with other maintenance items, like oil filters. My auto-maintenance-tools drawer in the shop still has the pair of leather gloves I had to don to change the oil filter on the 2001 Taurus my uncle gave me. Ford cleverly placed it under the exhaust manifold, with barely enough room to get it in and out, and sure not enough clearance to the hot manifold for bare hands. It didn't break my heart when we were able to sell it, after his passing.
