Wow, like opening King tut's tomb all over again. Is that Proto a military contract tool ? Seen plenty of Plomb ones like that, but never a Proto. Korean war era model maybe ? Am i correct all WF marked tools are military related tools ?

I know about the Plomb WF branded tools, but this is the first Proto WF branded tool i have seen. I knew Snap-On had military contracts after WWII because i had a friend that worked at Mare Island Navel Shipyard in Vallejo California back in the 1970s. He said whenever they broke Snap-On tools they just tossed them in the river because Snap-On does not replace military contract tools. They have the letter G in the part number meaning Government. I have many Proto tools that i have yet to get put away and i may just have some WF branded tools.
