Title: 1902 Cabinet Scraper Holder
Post by: lzenglish on September 06, 2011, 11:44:11 AM
Here is another Scraper I found at a yard sale. The cleaning process is done, and I just need to treat the beechwood handle now. It is marked Pat. date Dec. 30, 1902, which equates to pat.# 717,498. It was invented by S. Dean, and Datamp shows it was assigned to E.C. Atkins & Co. The blade is held into place with an eccentric binding method, for lack of a better description. Very Nice and Heavy Tool!
