Santa, I was just thinking of what I need, or want, which are two very different things. I don't need more wrenches, unless they are New Britain NDF, but just found 3 more of those. Do not need another tool box as the number is approaching the two dozen mark, and will be bringing my big Snap-On home soon, the shop is getting tight. Have plenty of saws, and drills. Got my new anvil this year, 175lbs, so it should be my last one. What I could use is some coal, 100 lbs will hold me for awhile. And if you have room in the sleigh, drop off 20 foot of 3/8 steel bar. Also will be very happy with any odd bit of iron you can find in the shops up there. Don't need much else this year but a pair of work boots, and yes, I've been good, all year, honest. If you want coal, you should just cut out the midle man and be naughty... In theory, the worse you are, the more coal you'll get... So live it up! :P

A grinder! Better than him taking the welder back. I was sort of hoping that this would kick off a group of posts about what you fantasize about getting for Christmas, old tool related of course. The one or two things that you have wanted but neglected to get for yourself, due to cash, room, etc. So, what you going to ask for?

Don't know what I want?
A couple of good helpers to make castings for some old pedal and treadle tools, well and lots of other tools, old car parts, old toy parts, I have plans for.
Really would be nice if "they" could come up with better replacement joints, certainly the one I've held in my hand were for "little old ladies" who wave their hand at Bingo! yes I've looked into casting stainless, not so much titanium
