Title: 6" pipe wrench

y son just brought ove a box of my treasures.   what can you tell me about a Stillson type marked TOBRIN, Plantsville  Conn. Perfect handle also.

I can tell you they took over the production of screwdriver after the collapse of H.D. Smith...

The connection is that W. S. Thomson (who had many of the Perfect Handle patents ) was president of Tobrin, which apparently tried to start up in the early 1930s.  Don't know how long the company lasted.  (All this is based on a quick "google advanced book search" for Tobrin Plantsville with date range 1925 - 1940.)
