A yard sale, the dump, and the junk shop yielded these. Across the top, a Williams (in an oval) spud wrench -- priciest piece here. From the left, a Stanley sweet heart blade, a pair of Boker nippers, a Snap-On 7/16 star wrench, nameless counter sink, an adjustable hole cutter and the strangest looking wrench I ever saw, a nice small nail set, and a pair of screw drivers of the sort we've been talking about. The longer is 9 7/8'" long, the smaller, 5 3/4". No names on either of the drivers. The little one might be a later knock-off, but it looked too good to pass up.

To me Any catch is a Good catch Branson! That little wrench has me baffeled as well? It must be a special purpose tool for some mechanical device, but you already know that! I assume there is no indicating marks on it? Anyway, a nice little batch of quality tool finds.

That's what I need, a boomerang wrench, so it comes back when I lose it....
Not the slightest clue what that one fits....
Lots of goodies tho...

Argh! I forgot the marks -- yes, there are marks. The slender arm is stamped GW-1, and the other arm has GB in a circle -- the stem of the G makes the line for the back of the B.

I agree with Wayne. Any catch is a good one in today's economy.
-
Yeah, way to go. Several there that I don't have.....

Branson could the GB be a graham Brothers logo, can you take a better pict and post it...but only if you will sell it to me if I like it, no point in teasing me with it. :)

it is a neat looking wrench! ida bought it!

Snap-On 7/16 star wrench,
not sure what this is?
8 point socket?
male wrench like an Allen?

>Snap-On 7/16 star wrench
Inside out torx, tho there are several variations (6 point, 8 point, and spline, which isn't the same but often is confused for it)
The big sizes are common for seat belt bolts , small sizes are used for engine parts sometimes...

12 point socket. It appears to be a Snap-On F-1416 "Hammerhead" Fixed Socket Wrench that has had the 1/2 inch end cut off.

I'll try to get a photo of the logo, maybe by Friday. My camera is broken, and my step-son is by far the better photographer.

At long last, here are the close-ups of the odd little wrench. Is it a Graham Brothers?
-
May be a small catch, but better then nothing.
Nice finds.
Love the handle on the wrench.
-
Kinda like Graham Brothers, but not quite right.
-
That looks to be Graham Brothers prior to the Dodge Brothers days when they were still independant. ( Not much doubt ) You dont show a pict. of the overall wrench so I couldnt even begin to guess what it may have been originally designed for but if you were to ask me anyway I might say water pump wrench given the curvature of the wrench.
If you would take a few bucks for it ( and it were for sale ) I would buy it either way thanks for showing it although it would be even nicer to see the overall wrench.
-
Here's the whole of it.
-
Ok you did show it, did not realize that it was the same wrench
-
1930, I think it's cool looking (makes me think of a pair of space alien arms) but I'm not really attached to it. So it could be yours. I have no idea what to ask for it so I'm open for suggestions. Send me a PM.
