Title: Collection of Screwplates, Taps, Nut Splitters
Post by: bill300d on October 12, 2014, 11:00:09 AM
I picked these up from a flea market vendor the other week. He said he had them for quite a while and couldn’t move them and was tired of carring them around. A bit of negotiations and we came to a price point that suited me more than he but we had a deal.

I’m guessing these were some ones collection or maybe excess museum inventory as some have tags with what looks like Id numbers on them.  Most of the screwplates are King, 1 Holroyd, and a couple unmarked, Some extra dies, a hand full of Taps, and a couple of nut splitters.

As found and a couple group shots.

Sweet pick up. The nut buster on the left is interesting.

Oh, man!  That's quite a haul.  All those threaders?  Great stuff.

I might be interested in one of the screw plates.  How much do you want for one?  I'd need to know the sizes of the cutters.  Any maker's marks on any of these?

Could be interested.  Please let us know if you want to list them separately with some description for each one.
Also interested in some of the taps.
Thanks

I'll try to get something up in the for sale section tomorrow.
