Title: REALLY wierd snap on sockets
Post by: bird on August 31, 2011, 10:28:02 PM
Hi there, I've just wound up with two sockets that I do not recognize at all.  ...  I don't have a picture of them....... I know, I should.... so, save the comments!!!
They are no. A135  and A137.  I have no idea what these sockets were used for and have not seen sockets like these before. Any help would be great. Again, pictures would be great, but I don't have them.
cheers, bird

They are shock absorber sockets. They go on the funny squished end of the rod that goes through the nut to hold it so you can unscrew the nut. (The rod will spin inside the shock if you try to unscrew the nut )
