On a whim, I went to another Estate sale that only ran for 3 hours today. It was in a condo near a private country club, so I wasn't real hopeful on the tool stash possibilities, but the lack of Thursday yard sales sorta forced me into plan B. On two separate tables, there were dollar tools(and some individually priced somewhat higher) and another table where large Craftsman wrenches were $5 each and mediums $3 etc.. Their "expert" tool and yard equipment "pricer" Had $5 on a Korean rusty pair of side cutters, and $5 on a small wrench called a Blue Line., Never heard of that one before. On that same dollar table were 2 Cornwells in great shape for a buck, a MaC for $2, 2 Snap ON Screwdrivers and a DBE for a buck each, and several other keepers. The high dollar table had One of the Chinese adjustawrench junkers for $5 and a set of 4 Indestro Super DBE's in wonderful condition for $4 ea. Nothing was spozed to be 1/2 price until Saturday, but I made her an offer the cashier didn't refuse. I think I spent $34 dollars there, but maybe the photos will vindicate me. BTW, any "WOW" replies will be seen by my wife and likely open up her purse for a future sale!!

Awesome grab!
I have one of the Indestro 712. It's like a 15 deg offset, with real thick, comfy shank. Would love to get the whole set of them.
A friend has a 711 he uses - and he ain't giving it up!
-
WOW!! There you go- let her see the WOW!
-

-
Yep, I'd give those buys a WOW for sure!

I think I hear the faint sound of a zipper opening up.....

You could go weeks picking up bits and pieces and not do that well. That's a nice selection for a single haul not a clunker amongst them. The condition looks to be exceptional on most of them too. Well done!

They also had a Robinair Refrigerant style square drive ratchet, but I'd never heard of it, so I passed,. If it's still there at opening tomorrow, half price might just be the ticket. There were a few micrometers and a big Craftsman Jigsaw that might be worth the half price sale. We'll see....

Since I didn't have to work Saturday, I went back and got in line 15 minutes early for the 1/2 price sale. The 16 Gallon C-man Wet/Dry Vac/acc. was $17 now(not only would this think suck up an 8# bowling ball, it would likely suck up David Oreck too!!), I took the Brown and Sharp #59 0-1" micrometer for $7, 20 small files w/ no rust for $5, another Indestro Super 712 DBE for $1, 10" Crestalloy adj. for $1 no rust, huge old C-man Scrolling jigsaw for $8, snagged the Robinair square drive for $1, a few MAC drifts/center punches for .50 ea.(didn't see them the other day), A MAC P-211 stubby phillips and a pocket Coast to Coast slotted for a quarter ea., a Burndy Hytool Crimper for $1, Craftsman 4546 7" Tin snips, Blue LIne E-1214 DOE for $1.50, Very nice Barcalo DBE TB 1618 for $2, a Western Auto SS metal 6" rule for .50 and a bunch of oother knick knacks ot worth mentioning in this forum. I'll send photos after daylight.

Robinair is a quality maker of AC stuff, they are part of the OTC group.

Here's the belated photo and the Robinair only needed the slighest WD 40 dip to work perfectly.

I have the same scroll saw although mine is missing the top knob which really serves little purpose, its a great saw

Yeah, I thinking this one will do what the ubber expensive Bosch was going to do and cost a fraction of the Bosch. NO sparks from the armature and that's a win!!
