I came across the Eifel Plierench at an estate sale and couldn't resist it. I don't know much about it but did find out it's the older patent date with the Flash Sales Corp'n as the manufacturer. I usually never pick up Snap-On as they are so out there, but this was hard to resist. It was very, very crusty and I could barely make out the logo on it. The guy had no idea what it was. I got for $1. I don't know the value, but to me, it's priceless! My first Snap-On! LOL

and the snap on is very interesting, I cant quite read the number

The Snap-On appears to be a drain plug wrench. I just picked up two made by other makers.

I saw another pair of Eifel pliers at the flea market this past Sunday, but by the time i saw them my wallet was bleeding money. They were still on the table when i left.I did real well at the flea market with lots of sellers enjoying the nice weather and selling at very fair prices. Among the things i got was two Plomb ratchets and a Plomb screwdriver. I
also got a nice P&C open gear ratchet with good teeth and the cover that is missing most of the time.

I am still trying to figure out my new computer. Dreaded Windows 8. The 1/2 drive ratchet is a unmarked Plomb WF38 and the other is a pebbled 3/8 drive 1945 to 1948 vintage. The Plomb screwdriver is a small wooden handled flat blade with a metal cap on it. The WF model appears unused with no rust and all the cadmium coating intact. The 3/8 model 5249 is painted blue and totally worn out,but still works good.

Nice finds! Are the Plierench gears straight or angled?
