Miller Falls tool holder, patented 1868.
The handle holds the 10 different tools.
The chuck holds perfect. The handle is Cocabolo wood.
Perfect shape for such an old tool that could still be used daily.
You would NOT pound on the end when chiseling, would you?
I'm not sure where to put it?
In my drawer for use, or keep it separate for someone who needs it for a display board?
What do you think?

Nice tool. It would make a great user or display piece.
I am sure that you would not pound on the end. The chisel tools are probably more for carving.

That's a really nice example, and really good condition. The chisel and gouge would be for paring, not pounding. Nice set of inserts, too.

Yeah the tool holder is not rare (I've had a couple) but finding all the tools inside is not common.
