Title: Welding Rod?
Post by: radguy on August 10, 2011, 02:56:42 PM: I am guessing that this is a brand of welding rod. So lets see what everyone thinks. As you can see it says Fuse-Well on it.

I was thinking the same thing! It would be very easy to find out, just lay a little heat on the end of it. I have never seen soft solder with the company name printed on it, so if it is solder, they were very prowd of it.

Like a fire door, or A/C fire damper fuse? It sure could be!

Id say you solved it RLT! This must be their cast iron brazing filler stick rod? I can see now why they were so prowd to put their name on it. Pobably for repairs on engine blocks and or heads.
