The condition of the Plomb pebble ratchet and breaker in this lot are just too good to pass up!
You see a lot of pebble ratchets, but seldom with this much chrome! Geeze look at 'em shine!
But......... I am broke.
Somebody jump on this!

Needed someone with more money than sense.

Not really
The lot was sitting at $20 open with a few hours to go.
Plomb pebble 1/2" ratchets, in "no chrome" condition, (how you usually see them) seldom sell for under $20.
Breakers ditto.
Nearly NOS go in the $50+ range right now. And not easy to get at any price.
The rest of the lot was gravy. A few nice Plomb sockets but sockets are nearly always cheap.
As the years go by, it will be the rare models in top condition fetching 10 or 20 or 50 times the price of so so examples. I have seen it happen in every other kind of collectible. condition condition condition
Mechanics tools will follow along, wait and see.
I noticed someone came along and took the lot for closer to $40 with no hesitation.
Even at 40 for a ratchet and breaker in this condition, it was a screaming deal.
I don't have these tools this nice.

I'd say at $38 someone got a great buy.
