I have had this for a while, but unable to find out anything about it.
It has a diamond shaped logo with what could be S W F in styleized letters, and DRP. DRP could be German, not sure.
It is a heavy, solid set of tools, suggesting military, but no military marks.
I have others sets to post as well.
Any info welcome.
Cheers

That is a cool looking set I looked through a lot of AA and couldn't find anything. It reminds me of a Blackhawk tool.

Perhaps Swabian Winker Factory, a long lived (pre WWI to 60's) company that made various automotive accessories. Weak tho, and the company is hard to find info on, even the location (perhaps, in the time period implied, Bietigheim or Würtb. (Making assumptions about DRP , of course )
This is a very weak guess here ; )

Beautiful looking set in it's original box! I have never heard of this maker either, but I'm sure there is some info. out there some place! Does the head on it ratchet?

Yes, the ratcheting is controlled by that knurled collar, moves about a quarter turn, to either lock or allow ratcheting. One direction only. The head can swivel through three positions, and is controlled by a button activated piece which engages the mechanism.
To reverse the ratchet, just rotate the tool through 180 degrees.
Thanks for the ideas as to maker.
I will try to follow them up.

Maybe, I just wonder about that though, since we had a slew of tool makers in busniess. Maybe it English.
I swear I've seen something like the logo but can't place it yet. What ever the case it's a neat looking set. Waht sizes are the sockets in SAE, Whitworht or metric?
-
The sockets are each marked in inch sizes, biggest is marked 7/8", but measures 1-1/2" AF, which makes it a Whitworth size, and probably English or for the English market.
Unless it is from early days before the US standardised sizes.
