Title: Flea market finds 5-16-14
Post by: keykeeper on May 16, 2014, 11:22:03 PM
Checked out a vendor today, that I've got some nice stuff from in the past at a little seasonal flea market.

Wasn't disappointed!

Got a nice 2 lb. cross peen hammer, couple decent 3/8 drive extensions, an SK 3/8 ratchet, three nice chisels, mixed maker (Vaco,Proto, and Klein) nutdrivers from 1/4 up to 1/2, Starrett inside caliper, early Wright doe wrench, etc.

The longest 3/8 extension is marked PWA with a number.

The 3/8 breaker handle has the square socket on the end, so it can be used as an extension as well.

Everything is USA made.

Pretty happy with my $20 splurge!!

Ooooh, the knurled part of the S-K rat handle looks really big for a 3/8".
I like 'em big - comfy!

Good haul.

Nice.

I've got a similar hammer, inherited from my grandmother.  I've always found it entertaining that Granny had such a big hammer in her toolkit, as she was about five feet tall; but I guess she was stronger than she looked!
