Title: Lot of antique farm tools
Post by: duckhunter86 on February 27, 2014, 02:14:25 PM
Here is pictures of antique tool collection. A wide varity of various tools. I would only be interested in a buyer willing to buy the whole lot and them coming here to look and offer. I have a limited knowledge of antique tools so piecing them out doesn't appeal to me. Thanks for looking any details you want just message me or post on here any questions. Thanks for looking!

    Yeah post the price.

Your problem is, if you don't want to learn, and you don't want to work,
you are going to get offers of about 50 bucks all in, everywhere you turn.

I see a Smith tri-wing screwdriver that is worth 60 by itself. There are several decent tools. Nothing I see is worth $1000 by itself, but if you did the work you'd end up with a fine large pile in the $10 -$50 apiece range. Probably a few surprises would go higher too.

But nobody is going to pay to haul several hundred pounds of scrap away for you, while they pay you a lot of money to boot.   And there is plenty of scrap.
So flat rate, all or nothing offers? Will be rock bottom.

If you want any money out of the lot you will have to learn and work like the rest of us.
Otherwise don't expect much.

Oh, and wherever you are I live too far away to be personally involved in this deal. I have no dog in this fight.  These are just the facts.
       yours Scott

I think we are all agreed that an all-or-nothing approach will not serve you well.

Where are you located?

I made a very fair offer on two of them. Way too much different stuff to appeal to anyone as a whole I think. I'm the closest one to his location. Selling out to individuals would make some money and put them in the hands of people who appreciate them.
