Title: Extension rule

Branson was kind enough to give me ( yes give ) this extension rule a while back. I did know what an extension rule was but at the time he was describing it I could not picture the tool since it had been so long that I had seen one.

Doing some searches on-line I was able to find out that Lonnie Hull was a dealer back as early as the very early 40s, I have a feeling by the text of the information I found that they were started up in the late 30s.

I do not believe the ruler is as old as the late 30s, chances are decent that a new company would not have had the extra expenditures of giveways but I guess that sounds like a double faced coin. I also notice the absence of Brothers within the title heading so chances are more likely that it manufactured for a company that had dropped its former full title and that happened within the states in the late 30s for the most part.

If anyone has anything to add to the history/original origin of this ruler please do so, thanks

1933 from some math, claimed to have been a dealer for 22 years in testimony given in 1956..
They still show up in the early 60's...
