Leather Knife & Draw Knife
« on: September 03, 2019, 02:38:18 PM »
Hello, Here are a couple pieces from the weekend. The leather knife is small, just wondering if it was made by former owner, or manufactured? The draw knife is giving me eye strain!! _ _ _ _ Tool Co. The only four letters I can think of are  OHIO, but that doesn't look right.  Regards, Lou

I want to guess Boos Tool Co, but that looks more like an S than a B.

Hello, Papaw. I agree, it looks like SOOS, but the B could be worn. When you flip it over, the letters look like numerals, but you can still read TOOL CO!!!  I think BOOS went by BOOS Tool Corp?? I need to get some better eyes than mine up close on this one. Thanks, Lou

First letter is for sure an 'S', then 2 'O's' and what looks to me like an 'N'. That being said, I’ve never heard of a 'SOON TOOL CO.' Maybe early Asian?

If it is "Soon," since we don't know about it, the company's no doubt out of business, which makes it the late Soon Company.
