Tool purchase from Craigslist
« on: May 18, 2021, 06:43:44 AM »
At first it looked like the usual junk - a beat up tool box full of abused tools and a "make an offer" request.  But there was a red tool roll,,, I asked the seller to post some better photos.  He did and there it was - a Snap-On tool roll with 9 angle wrenches.  I made an offer($50).  The wrenches all have M67 etched in them - but are otherwise like new.  At least they don't have a some guys name or the famous "three grind marks".

Purchased for resale since I need to make some money for 3 weeks that I'll be out of work.  After I quit my job on Friday May 7, I applied for a Maintenance Mechanic position at a local cemetery.  Monday I was called for an interview, was hired Tuesday and for 50 cents more per hour than my last mechanic position.  I start June 1st.

I knew there were some other good stuff in the lot.  Here's photos.

Thanks Lou.  I feel kind of dirty - I scarfed these tools probably less than a mile from your place!

I was hoping y'all would tell me what the red thing is!  The ends are reversible.  The plastic handle leads me to think it is some kind of tool for working on high voltage.
Cut off the pipe wrench photo is an 8" Ridgid.
I used the plated Snappy hex wrenches to complete my own set in a home made holder.

The red thing is a faucet wrench.

Thanks, "Red".  Makes sense with the basin wrench also in the group.
Thanks everyone for well wishes on new job.
