Title: Wright 10 point socket set
Post by: coolford on August 07, 2018, 07:48:24 PM
This is a somewhat different socket set, as it is made for both 4 and 6 point nuts.  However, if you can count you will notice there are only 8 points.  I think someone from Washington added 4 and 6 and came up with the 10 point deal.  Anyway I had been looking for years to find one of these and lucked out finding one that had hardly been used.

This is officially one of the neatest sets I've seen lately.

I've seen quite a few cool things on this site that I have never seen before, but this set is something special. Congratulations on a real nice find. There condition looks to be as close to new as you could ever hope to find.

Compare that socket interior to the "Miller Vehicle Wrench" patent ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?number=445451&typeCode=0 ) & conclude that good ideas are worth copying.

How true, I have a collection of brace wrenches (made to use in braces to make speed wrenches) and a number of makers sold them with the 4-6 design.
