Herbrand tool box

Picked this up at Thur auction. Any idea of age? This is a keeper. It is heavy and solid. Works smooth. The 2 gold latches are replacements but the rest looks original.

It is a Kennedy. Says so on the top photo, left edge.
Age, my guess 9s the early 1950's. I have one similar in my collection.
That style was very popular for "take-home" tools.

Right you are guys! Its a Kennedy. I thought it looked like the remains of a Herbrand sript log. A second look with a magnifying glass makes it clear I was wrong. As the wife keeps reminding me I don't look so good anymore unless I have my magnifying glass. Thanks
