3 bucks at the Auburn Co-Op
« on: April 21, 2012, 12:10:57 PM »
First time posting photos - stopped at the co-op market in Auburn, NY this morning and spent $3 on these. Also $2 for a Siamese cat miniature figurine for Mrs. E. The top wrench is a Nash with a "2" on it, a Kawasaki 12 and 13mm, a Lufkin center punch, and a like new Exacto knife with blades in a plastic case. So, is the Nash wrench really a Nash automobile tool kit wrench? The other pieces I bought to use or replace lost items.

Probably. We had a thread about Nash a while back , but I think it was lost.

There was another company that made pumps named Nash, who also apparently supplied wrenches marked Nash.....

But I *think* the numbered ones are for the car....

The Nash car club has some (fuzzy) pictures...

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

The Nash wrench is for a Nash automobile  tool kit and is one of three wrenches .  They are easy to identify as they are marked Nash 1, Nash 2, and Nash 3.
The Kawasaki wrench is marked with the big K and not earlier logos.  I do not have an exact date but the switch to the big K marking supposedly happened some time in the early 1980's.  The wrench is probably  from a motorcycle, snowmobile or ATV tool kit.

Thanks,
