Nice wrench, looks like it was from a hardware store that sold chain by the ft.

I wonder if this was part of a series?  Little Giant, Medium-sized Giant, Big Giant, Great Big Giant, and so on?

I can't find any reference to "oddograph," except the company, but there is an "odograph" (one D), which is a measuring odometer (of which there are also nautical versions).  I wonder if that's what the company originally made before diversifying into chain cutters?

Maybe an oddograph is a machine that measures how odd something/someone is.  If they ever tried it on us (pointing around), we'd probably break it.

Hello, Skip. I looked up the patent number on DATAMP, they didn't have it, but they provided a link to the US Patent Office. Patent granted April 24 1945 to Nicoll C. Oddo. Tire Chain Tool, for opening and closing tire chain links. I'm guessing you already know this!! Regards, Lou

It came from an older truck repair garage, so I was guessing big truck tire chains.

I like the hardware store idea too.

...Nicoll C. Oddo...
Well, then, that explains the company name.
