Having cleaned off one end of the work bench, and found this medium size ball-peen. Hammers are so seldom marked, was surprised by the clear Billings mark, and made in u.s.a. on the reverse. Anyone else have one?

Not a Billings, but I have a Blue Point, a Maydole, and a Plomb.

No Billings, but I do have a Vlchek, P&C, Craftsman, and a Blue-point that are marked.
Until now, I was unaware that Billings made hammers. Nice find.

Just a Billings tool sidenote-- I'm fond of the old unplated or painted Billings wrenches and find quite a few at the local pawn shops and flea market. The problem is I keep finding the same size and pattern of wrenches I already have. The ones I most frequently encounter are the 9/16" x 5/8" DOE wrench, the 1/2" x 9/16" S-wrench, and the 3/8" SOE wrench. Surely Billings made other sizes and patterns...

I have a pristine, unused, NOS, minty, Billing coe, 19/32 x 25/32, polished faces, body painted black from the factory, probably dates to 1930, pre WWII anyhow. I know what you mean about finding nice wrenches but all the same size, seems like the 11/16 size got used the least and looks the best when out scrounging.

You sir, are a blessed man. Awesome wrench from a historical perspective (NOS, factory paint, and the two 32nd sizes that have fallen from use).
