We know you have great heart Neil
Just just forget to include yourself in this deal.
I realize it doesn't come natural to you, but in the end you will have spent a lot of time making other people lives richer.
 Neil deserves a little too.

Cream off a pile of your favorite stuff now. You don't have to take it now, but it would be safer and better to.

We contacted a local auction house thursday, they will come out tuesday. From what I hear they are well respected. Ive been there several times and for a auctionhouse its ran very well. Nothing is set in stone with them, we will talk terms an conditions an figure out commision when they come if the owner of the tools is intrested in the auction house.

The snapper mower and snowblower work like a charm. The leaftblower also works, but needs a little tlc. The rider doesnt even turn over but it hasnt been touched in a while so wele see what happens once we get a good battery little fresh fuel, oil, clean the carb, lines, filters, grease everything etc etc. The roto tiller doesnt work either. I got a buddy who is real good with small engines so hes gonna come over sometime this week and were gonna take a look at em.

LOL, thanks papaw. I may be well equiped for highschool but this is just the start of what I dream of having.

The wheelhorse is deffinitly a charm. I did have to put air in the tires to push her up on the trailer. I was suprised the tires even held air. Most of its leaked out by now but at least I got her home and thats the first step. I dont know how much moeny needs to be put in to her to get her running. I hope and dont plan on alot. Ime guessing new tires cause they seem to be dryrotted. Depending on how good she runs maybe one day a snow plow for her if thats something that is possible witch i dont see why it wouldnt be. But ime no master gearhead so ime not to sure on what all it needs.

The tiller ive got no quik plans for, i will get her running but shes not on the top of the list.

The snow blower I plan to have running excellently by this winter. Pic up a few bucks blowing snow in the neighborhood. This year I scraped by with a piece of garbage toro 421 what i couldnt depend on and a decent craftsman single stage 21 inch blower that couldnt do much more then two or three inches. It will be nice to have a good blower to depend on this year.

The leaf blower will be very nice as well come fall. Last fall I used a good old fashioned rake to rake leaves around the neighborhood for moeny but now with this bad boy once shes running she should make jobs a snap.

The push mow Ime in no rush to get tuned up as I already have 2 running good but we can all use another cant we?

Oily I feel like ive been in the lawn bussnies just not with such good(well used but still good) equitment. Ive been just using a push mower and rake.

Thats a pretty cool video. I was watching a few on wheelhorse just now and there quite intresting. I saw a few nice restored wheelhorses to.

It will deffinitly be a good change for me.

I have only used three rear tine tillers but ive saw many. The construction of this is built like a tank. Its nice and heavy with some thick metal sheilds nice big tires good controls and the list goes on. The newer ones ive used have alot of plastic and are half the weight and much smaller. The thing is there so light they just bounce around so much. It will be nice to get her working eventually thoe.

Those are quality yard machines. I spent 20 years as a groundskeeper and while I have never used those brands I can say I wouldn't trade straight across for new cheap stuff. The difference in maintenance costs and time, quality of work done and ease of use will pay off.

I think the ease of use is easier in some aspects as far as handling and guages but at the same time you dont have the durrabilty and performance. Overall I would much rather have the older stuff then the new stuff.

Ime pretty sure the one in the video just had wheel weights ant tire chains on it for plowing, ime not sure thoe i could be completley wrong.

Today we got the wheelhorse up and running, well sort of up and running. We got the motor started and engaged the mower deck the belt snapped on it. Before we even started it we knew it would need to be replaced as it was pretty much dry rotted. All the belts on the mower look pretty bad so were probably gonna replace them all. We also changed the oil and boy was the oil that came out black. We ran some gas stright through the tank to make sure she was clean in there and the tank was suprisingly clean, no dirt or nothin in there. We replaced the fuel filter for a generic one he already had. The fuel line itself will need to be replaced soon to, its so brittle. The big box store doesnt sell the right size battery for it(amps an volts are fine but the phisical size of battery box is a problem) so we hooked her up with leads to the same size battery he had but doesnt fit in the mower. We also cleaned out the carberator. Along with that he did a few other things here and there. The motor itself runs decent now, he still wants to tune her up a little. Ime gonna put a little moeny into belts for now to get her running good then I will see about all new tires if she runs good. I gotta go to the small engine dealer and pick up some belts but those ime guessing are gonna have to be ordered ime not sure. Once I get tires I will see about the chains and weights for a plow.

Try Napa
My guy Rick just got me belts for a type 1 Deere 110. 1965
Had to order them but they arrived the next day.

When you get your belts, keep the little paper collar that came on them,  like it was made of gold!
Saves a lot of hassle next time.
