Title: Spoke shaves can anyone id these

One is unbranded - i suspect the blade is a replacement, the other the label is worn off but does say 168 on the cap.

That 168: I would look for images resembling that decal.  Preston, Marples, Woden, Record - can't recall all the British toolmaker names.

The other looks like a patternmaker-made tool.  Is it brass or bronze?

Hello, Am I seeing a partial No. 51 on the label? Same style in a Stanley, or, Record would be a 151.  Along with what Bill said, also try Greave and Tillotson. Regards, Lou

Problem partially solved, the 168 one is Wilson Lovatt and Co. I looked at remaining transfer with magnifying glass. thanks for advice


The bottom one - is cast iron not bronze anyone else got any ideas ?
