If this had a $15 BIN option, I'd have it.

1952 is a year that is not available online (to the best of my knowledge) in PDF format...

Now's your chance, the price was knocked down to $15.

Relisted with $10 starting bid and $15 BIN.

Yesterday, I compiled a list of all (known to me) Craftsman hand tools catalogues that are already available in PDF, those that are in the hands of collectors who intend to make them available, and those still needed.

One of the catalogues that is already held, but not yet scanned is this 1952 edition.

I knew this yesterday afternoon, but that didn't stop me from bidding on and winning this one like an idiot early this morning! You'd think I'd have been able to remember, but no...

Oh well, it was only $10 + $3 for postage and we are now guaranteed to have it available as a PDF soon!

I think that means we still need:

1939 Mechanics Tools
1947 Mechanics Tools
1952 Mechanics Tools (m_fumich to provide  )
1953 Mechanics Tools
1955 Mechanics Tools
1969 Power & Hand Tools (m_fumich to provide  )
1971 Power & Hand Tools
1972 Power & Hand Tools (m_fumich to provide  )
1973/74 Power & Hand Tools
1974/75 Power & Hand Tools (m_fumich to provide  )
1975/76 Power & Hand Tools (m_fumich to provide  )
1976/77 Power & Hand Tools
1977/78 Power & Hand Tools
1978/79 Power & Hand Tools
1979/80 Power & Hand Tools
1980/81 Power & Hand Tools
1981/82 Power & Hand Tools

I think everything else is now available at least in a lower-resolution PDF. Please correct me if I'm wrong...

I don't quite understand, do you mean all the other C-Man catalogs are available online? I know about Rose and one from John Pilgrim, but that's about it.

All earlier hand tool catalogues that I'm aware of are now available. Those are:

1942
1949
1954
1957
1959
1960
1964
1966
1968
1970
1972/73

Thanks, I know about those, but where are the others ( 1939, 1947, 1953, 1955 etc) I seem to be missing something here. (insert confused smiley)

...but where are the others ( 1939, 1947, 1953, 1955 etc)

They're still "in the wild" and unavailable. That's why they are listed under my "we still need" heading above (with the exception of the 5 catalogues already in the possession of m_fumich awaiting scanning & posting...

So, I suppose the real "need" list is:

I think that means we still need:

1939 Mechanics Tools
1947 Mechanics Tools
1953 Mechanics Tools
1955 Mechanics Tools
1971 Power & Hand Tools
1973/74 Power & Hand Tools
1976/77 Power & Hand Tools
1977/78 Power & Hand Tools
1978/79 Power & Hand Tools
1979/80 Power & Hand Tools
1980/81 Power & Hand Tools
1981/82 Power & Hand Tools
and later...

Can you elaborate on the "John Pilgrim" clue, for those of us not familiar with it?

John Pilgrim was a member here. He hosted 6 or 7 catalogs. Most are Plvmb / Proto, but he also did an Armstrong and the 1959 C-Man. He took the Armstrong and C-man off to make room for more PlVmbs.

I'm still confused. As far as I know the first Craftsman tool catalog was 1938. Are you saying that it's available along with all the other years not on your list?
