Dayton Buggy wrench
« on: July 12, 2014, 03:15:08 PM »
I picked up a Dayton 2813 B Buggy wrench today.  I see a fair amount of Dayton Buggy wrenches, but they are usually cracked.  This one is intact.

Don't think a buggy is appropriate vehicle for Cal. traffic.

I just had this awful mental picture of a buggy on a San Francisco hill....
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Which is why the cable car system was instituted - easier to pull the cars up the hill with a steam power plant pulling cables than to ask a horse to do the job.

Looks like a really fine example of a great old wrench there!
