Title: Stanley No.77
Post by: lptools on December 04, 2017, 11:26:15 AM
Hello, I went to a sale over the summer, started pulling out boxes, and found the cutters.I asked the owner where the dowel machine was, and he didn't even know what it was. He said there was a box in the basement with some cast iron items. So there is the black dowel machine in the photo,in the bottom of the box, with the damaged faceplate. I have since bought the blue one with the damaged geared wheel. So, now I have 12 cutters, some duplicates, but I do have the original set of 9, some with the original boxes. Now to find that original set of instructions that I squirreled away years ago!!!!!! Regards, Lou

Now you need a #59 Doweling Jig to go with it.  See page 118.

Hello, Northwoods. Thanks for the idea, the No. 59 Doweling Jig would go well with the No. 77. Found a nice surprise in the bottom of the box, too!!! Regards, Lou
