J.H. Williams "Hornet" hand tools

OilyRascal:
I wanted to post a picture of this Hornet ratchet for conversation.  I don't see anything special about it and the finish is in very rough shape, but I find it interesting there isn't a lot of information out there on "Hornet".

The most I could find was information suggesting it was either Williams made and marketed or Williams marketed - that was based on pictures of a Hornet set that was clearly marked Williams on the packaging.

I want to learn more and I will, I just wanted to share it as it doesn't seem to be common with a lot known.

There were, among other things, an aircraft, an automobile model, and a motorcycle named Hornet...

Perhaps an aftermarket tool set?

Not something I have seen before, in any case, interesting...

Personal ratchet of the Green Hornet?
