Unknown welding wrench?
« on: January 14, 2019, 01:53:37 PM »
Found this welding wrench today. Thought it was an OXWALL, but once home discovered it's an OXWELD. Never heard of that before.
Looks like a decent tool, but I learned a long time ago not to judge tools on looks alone. Is it an OXWALL clone, a foreign copy, or was/is there an actual company named OXWELD?

7/8", 11/16", and 9/16" openings, with a number 92 stamped on the double ned.

You'll find those are handy for welding gas torches, regulators and hoses.   Apparently still in business, at least in name, but I was unable to find a business website.

I remember seeing some oxweld cutting torches back in the 1970's but I haven't seen any in years. They were not very popular around this part of the country.
